Distilled in September 2007, this Mackmyra (Sweden) Single Malt was aged in a first fill bourbon cask. Bottled at a rather comfortable 47.5%, it is elegant and oaky, with notes of baking spices and toasted nuts.

Alas, Mackmyra is a distillery that is now no-longer with us, but while it was around, the spirit was awesome, and this is a rather exceptionally aged expression, certainly the oldest we have seen.
